What are catering trucks?
The first image that flashes in a person’s mind on hearing the word catering is the image of food being transported in vehicles for parties and gala events. Catering trucks are use not only for carrying the preprocessed food for events and parties but are also used for describing mobile food units selling food by providing door to door service.
Essentially there are two types of catering trucks, the first is commonly known as a mobile food preparing unit which is a kind of vehicle where sandwiches or rolls can be prepared based on the orders placed by the buyer. These trucks can be opened from side to give an appearance of a table or a counter
The other type of catering truck is for industrial catering or commonly used for transferring prepared foods to different venues.
Both these catering trucks cost about 75000 to 100000 depending on the number of equipments installed and should be regularly checked by government’s health department for following cleanliness and health related norms
