Nothing can beat the thrill of enjoying the bike ride. By maintaining your bike parts regularly you not only ensure your safety but also guarantee a longer life of your favorite machine. Here are some useful tips for maintaining your bike parts:
Inspect spark plug
You should regularly visually inspect your spark plug which should not be either white or black in color but should shine in its metallic hue. White plug indicates high temperature where as a black plug indicates replacement
Check the air filter
Air filter should be regularly cleaned off its dirt which will help in improving the bike’s performance.
Oil the bike chains and check that its neither too tight that can cause wear and tear and should also not be too loose that can result in an accident
Inspect and adjust brakes
One should regularly check for signs of wear and tear in the brake cable and tighten the brake nuts before they become too loose.
Also check for air tube pressure before riding your bikes. The simple maintenance of bike parts will pay rich dividends in terms of your safety and maximizing the life of your bike.
